Poem
Past Present Future
(José Saramago in English)
I was.
But what I was, I do not remember
Thousand layers of dust covering, veil,
My forty faces unequal,
so rent by the time and macareos
I am.
But what I am is so little:
Frog escaped the pond, which jumped
And when giving the jump, as he could,
The air blown from another world, it did broke out.
But what I am is so little:
Frog escaped the pond, which jumped
And when giving the jump, as he could,
The air blown from another world, it did broke out.
Remains to be seen, (if that I lack),what I will be:
A face recomposed before the end.
A batrachian song, really hoarse
A life that passes, more or less ..
A face recomposed before the end.
A batrachian song, really hoarse
A life that passes, more or less ..
